Vibrant Summer Wedding at Sundance Resort
A Whimsical Celebration at the Redford Conference Center & Rehearsal Hall
Summer in the Utah mountains brings an explosion of natural color, and this July wedding at Sundance Resort leaned into that seasonal magic with vibrant joy. Moving beyond traditional rustic mountain aesthetics, their design brought high-energy playfulness, rich botanical textures that mimicked the natural mountain flora, and whimsical pops of color to two of Sundance's most iconic spaces: the Redford Conference Center and the Rehearsal Hall.
A Celebratory Morning and Alpine I Do’s
The day began in true mountain style: relaxed, celebratory, and filled with high-energy excitement. The bride gathered with her bridesmaids and mother at Sundance in a cabin tucked into the resort trees to prepare for the festivities together. The morning was full of laughter, happy tears, and growing anticipation before she stepped into her delicate, intricate lace gown and got ready to walk down the aisle.
For the ceremony, guests gathered on the lawn at the Redford Conference Center. Framed by lush aspen groves and pines, the setting featured whimsical, ground-level floral installations designed to mimic wild blooms found on the mountain. Vibrant purples, soft lavenders, chartreuse, and airy white lace blooms set a bright, joyful tone for the vows.
Rehearsal Hall Reception
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the scenic deck of the Rehearsal Hall for passed appetizers, refreshing drinks, and mountain air as the sun dipped behind the peaks.
Everyone then moved inside the rustic hall for dinner, where handcrafted wood tables were styled with pearl-dotted tulle runners, amber bud vases, green apple silk napkins, and rich plum taper candles. To top off an already special evening, there was a special guest appearance as their beloved dog dropped in to say hello and join the party!
Live Tunes, Vinyl Beats & Next-Day Rafting
Once dinner wrapped, a live band took the stage to kick off a high-octane dance party. When their set ended, a vinyl DJ kept the momentum going, spinning vintage records until 1:00 AM, keeping the dance floor packed, while warm trays of late-night truffle mac and cheese refueled guests.
To close out an unforgettable wedding weekend, guests who still had energy the next morning traded their wedding attire for life jackets and spent the day rafting down the nearby Provo River. It was the ultimate ending to an epic celebration.
